Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...and few surprises!

Yes, my husband and I finally took Eljo to see the 4th installment of the Harry Potter series. We were supposed to watch at Rockwell and with little Elle (and yaya) as well. However, we figured Elle might not really like it inside the moviehouse and the movie might be a little bit scary. Good thing we didn't. Besides the exhorbitant fee (at 150 per person), there are some pretty disturbing scenes, even for me.

So, we ended up watching at SM Megamall. The fee was 112 per person (still expensive, actually) and we left Elle (and yaya) at Lola Oning's house.

Eljo wanted the whole caboodle, so to speak: popcorn, a drink, and the best seats (well, we were kinda late, so we got the ones at the left side of the theater, at the last row, so nobody's bound to accidentally or intentionally kick the back of our seats. Don't you just hate that?). I got the popcorn and the drinks, but had to line up at the other cinema because the queue in our cinema was, unsurprisingly, long. Then, as I was coming back, I couldn't find my ticket. I was getting really frustrated (pissed, really!). My tiny bag was just too full of stuff: keys, lipstick, tissue paper, receipts for the photos, and there's a hole! I thought, "This is absolutely ridiculous!" So finally, I decided to go in and just take my chances. It's a good thing I got myself stamped before I got out to buy popcorn so when I showed the usher my stamp, he let me in. (Despite the fact that I look absolutely clueless as to where my two boys are!)

Anyway, Eljo enjoyed the movie (at least three-fourths of it), he was able to appreciate the visual effects. His comment: "Look, the horses are flying. But horses don't fly!" It's a movie, honey. Use your imagination.
